Role
- Assist the greenkeeping team in achieving high standards of presentation on and around the golf course.

- Responsible for the production of bar call order food along with assisting the Lead Chef with food preparation and service of special event food
- Very organised and able to communicate effectively with the Lead Chef and F&B manager to help ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.
- Ensure that correct stock levels are ordered
- Cook, Cool, and store all food produced in line with company and environmental health legislation.

- The Technician will assist the Duty Technician with being the technical point of contact at the Sheffield City Hall. Free NPLQ Lifeguard Training Offer
Would you like to build a career in Leisure but don’t have the necessary qualification?
We are offering an amazing opportunity of free places on a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification course running at our world class leisure facilities in Sheffield with the prospect of a temporary contract as a Leisure Assistant (Lifeguard) with Sheffield City Trust on qualification.
It is a 6-day course, ordinarily costing £300 per person, covering all elements of Pool Rescue Techniques, Lifeguarding Theory, First Aid and CPR and is being offered free of charge.
On successful completion of the course, candidates will receive the NPLQ qualification and will be recruited to an available temporary Leisure Assistant vacancy at one of our amazing venues. There will be a number of contract choices available, at a number of venues and candidates’ preferences will be sought at the start of the process and confirmed prior to undertaking the training course.
Our Leisure Assistants are a key role within our venues, offering an ideal route into a career in Sport & Leisure with opportunities to develop within the sector. The NPLQ course is scheduled to run for 6 consecutive days from the 26th of May to the 31st of May at Ponds Forge ISC so you will need to be available on all of those dates.
The course can be physically demanding, and a competency test will be carried out in the pool before enrolment can be confirmed, therefore, we will also require you to be available for a swimming ability assessment on Tuesday the 23rd of May between 4.00pm-7.00pm and, if successful, followed by an interview the following week. If you have a specific circumstance meaning you cannot make these timings, we may be able to accommodate alternative times during this week however, this cannot be guaranteed.
